Hollywood, CA - Got Vape was invited by to introduce Hip-Hop legends Method Man and RedMan to our Vapor Movement. We attended their Official Myspace Blackout 2 Album Release party at the Highlands in Hollywood on Thursday, May 28th.
I linked up with Seven, MethodMan's manager, outside of the club around 9:30 to get our VIP passes. After promoting outside for 30 minutes, we entered the show through the artist entrance. Method Man and RedMan were in the Paparazzi section taking photos and chatting with their fans. As soon as we rolled through, both RedMan and MethodMan saw Got Vape and gave us a shout out!
After 20 minutes, the duo made their way through the crowd to do the MTV Interview. Seven walked us into the upstairs VIP area to meet these Hip Hop Icons and educate them about Vaporization. While we were in the VIP area, TV-Star Snoop from "The Wire" was interested in our Celebrity Health Awareness program.
She gave Got Vape a shout-out and took our educational health brochure home so she can watch our Vaporizer Lifestyle Videos and find the perfect vaporizer for herself. After conducting the formal interview for us, we made our way downstairs to watch the performance. Both RedMan and MethodMan took the stage with exploding energy and the crowd started to bounce around the sold-out show.
The Got Vape Promo team had front stage access, allowing us to capture their entire performance from a foot away! The Duo performed all time classics like, "How High," "I'll Be Dat," "C.R.E.A.M," and "Tear it Off." We could see all of the fans singing along to these Hip-Hop Anthems, but they also performed tracks from their new Blackout 2 Album, including "A Yo."
RedMan and Method Man played for nearly two hours, giving into the crowd's request at the end by doing two encores. They also brought EPMD's Erik Sermon on stage to close out the performance. We followed them into the dressing room area to do the Vaporizer product orientation.
Once RedMan saw our new iolite portable vaporizer, he immediately put a huge grin on his face! "I can't believe how small this vaporizer is, now I can Vaporize on the go," said RedMan.
He immediately grabbed his iolite and Obama shirt, giving us a shout out! I showed them how to operate the new iolite vaporizer and then RedMan requested that we do a demo for him.
The iolite only takes a minute to heat up, so within no time, RedMan was Vaporizing! He added, "I can feel the Vapor going deep into my lungs, it has a super rich feeling." We ended staying in the dressing room until the staff was ready to close down the club. Got Vape was able to make some solid connections within the Hip-Hop Community.
Artist like DJ Drama, GZA, Erik Sermon, and members of the Def Jam and Bad Boy Family are already waiting for their interviews with Got Vape.
