Got Vape Backstage VIP for Jay-Z and Eminem at the Wiltern

Hollywood, CA - Got Vape was invited to run our “Green Room” Vaporizer Awareness Program for the DJ Hero Release party, featuring Jay-Z and Eminem at the Wiltern in Hollywood on Monday June, 1st.
Our promo team set up backstage in the artist dressing room area in order to educate all of the VIP’s about a healthier alternative to smoking.
We brought along our Vaporizer Health Brochures, product tri-folds, lanyards, and our new Got Vape Obama T-shirts.
The first performance of the night was a set from DJ AM and Travis Barker.
While watching the show backstage, we saw the Blink 182 drummer and DJ AM in the zone, he was banging out a serious set for the crowd! After their performance we had a chance to catch up with Travis and talk to him about Vaporizing.
During our meeting with Travis Barker, Rap Icon Warren G came by to show Got Vape some love. He was very interested in our new celebrity awareness program.
We pulled out on of our top rated vaporizers, the iolite portable vaporizer. Both Warren G and Travis Barker were impressed with this pocket size design.
We spent 10 minutes educating these two about our Vapor Movement and showing them how to use their new vaporizer.
After exchanging contact information with their manager’s, our promo team headed down to Eminem’s dressing room to link up with his DJ, the Alchemist.
Alchemist was already familiar with vaporization, but he had no idea that Got Vape carried such a wide selection of Vaporizers!
We were able to hang out in the dressing room and watch Eminem and Jay-Z conduct their interview with BET.
By 11pm, Jay-Z had the entire crowd rocking with an endless array of hit singles. The live band backing Jay-Z made me feel like I was watching one of his best live performances.
Jay-Z performed for a little over an hour, then he brought out Eminem to do their collaboration of, “Renegade.”
Once that track ended, Jay-Z exited the stage. He loved the Got Vape Obama shirt that we handed him! Now, it was time for Eminem to perform his one of a kind set.
As soon as Eminem took the stage, the crowd erupted. He started off with some of his classics songs such as, “Just Lose It.”
The energy in the room was rising at a rapid rate, and then he dropped his new song, “We Made You” with the music video playing in the background, sending his fans into frenzy.
Eminem performed for nearly an hour, once he finished up, all of the VIP’s went back down to the Dressing Room Area to take part in a Got Vape Vaporization Session.
We also linked up with the producers of the DJ Hero videogame to chat about how this production came to be.
It was enlightening to spread our health message to a new market because there are a large number of people in the “Gaming” community who still have to learn about Vaporizing.
The Got Vape Promo Team left the Wiltern around 3a.m., we are going to continue building on the success of our “Green Room” Program and spread to more members of the Hip-Hop community.
“I’m confident that all of the celebrity’s tonight enjoyed learning about Vaporization, Got Vape is welcomed back anytime,” said Jerome, the Production manager for Live Nation.
