Seattle-Got Vape was the main sponsor at the 19th Annual Seattle Hempfest on Saturday,August 21st and Sunday, August 22nd, 2010. This year's Seattle Hempfest attracted a huge crowd of well over 150,000 people over the weekend at Myrtle Edwards Park in downtown Seattle.
With such a large volume of attendees, our Vape Awareness Team kept busy educating everyone about the Health benefitsassociated with Vaporization. As part of our sponsorship, we set up ournew Aroma Classic Basic backstage in theGreen Room, allowing VIP's and musicians a chance to experience Vaporization first hand!
The first day of Hempfest was crazy! Our team arrived at 8am to set up the booth with our entire collection of Vaporizers, including the iolite portable, Volcano, Vapir No2 and the Extreme Q.
The official Got Vape sails hovered high above the tent for everyone to find our location from the entrance; we also put up our 10ft Got Vape banner on the main stage in the Stone Village to gain added exposure. Throughout the day, I witnessed a huge crowd of people make their way into the Got Vape Booth! The Got Vape promo models did an excellent job of bringing traffic to the booth.
Our Vape experts did an awesome job explaining the advantages of Vaporizationcompared to inefficient traditional methods of application. By the end of a sunny first day, thousands of Hempfest participants were sporting our Got Vape Stamps and stickers all over their bodies.
We finished up a successful Saturday with a nice dinner at our favorite restaurant in the city, Palace Kitchen. Thankfully, the sun was out again on Sundayand customers were lining up at the Got Vape booth by 10am!
A large number of familiar faces from previous shows popped into our booth to say hello and see what hot new Vapes we added to our collection. We also linked up with rising Hip-Hop artist, My-G, and sponsored him with the iolite portable Vaporizer.
