Steel Pulse Gets Vaped in Orange County

Long Beach, CA - The exclusive Got Vape, “Green Room” Vaporization awareness program was in full swing for the highly anticipated Steel Pulse show at the Vault 350 in Long Beach on Sunday, June 15, 2008.
The Got Vape crew was invited to attend this sold out event, with the sole purpose of spreading the Vaporization vibe to one of the most legendary International Reggae Acts in the world, Steel Pulse.
The Got Vape Van pulled up at the venue around 8pm. The line was already wrapped around the coroner, and fans could be seen sporting their favorite Steel Pulse threads, waiting eagerly to make it into this sold out concert.
We made sure to promote to all the fans waiting in line; people were really digging the Got Vape MySpace cards and our Vaporization Health brochures. The GV promo crew did a great job, so we got ready to make our way inside the show.
By 9pm, the Green Room was set up and ready for use. We had the Volcano Vaporizer out along with our Posters, Got Vape banners and health brochures. Our good brothers from Tomorrow’s Bad Seeds were the first to take part in the Vape sesh.
They have been gaining a real buzz lately and the band is starting to get the credit they deserve for years of hard work. The Got Vape Crew enjoyed catching up with the band and hearing about how special it was for them to open for Steel Pulse.
Right when we were about to wrap up the first Vaporization session, a surprise guest entered the Green Room, Amlak Talori, Steel Pulse’s bass man.
This was the first time that he had ever even seen a Vaporizer. One of our hot Got Vape Girls, KT, pointed out that this particular vape, The Volcano Vaporizer, was the Top Notch model. Amlak was quick to see the results for himself.
We kept Amlak and the Steel Pulse crew down in the Green Room while Tomorrow’s Bad Seeds jumped on stage and started their set.
He couldn’t wait to get a vaporizer of his own. After packing the Vaporizer up, our 10 member entourage jolted upstairs to watch the rest of the performance VIP style.
The energy of the crowd was amazing and in full swing! The sold out crowd finally got what they wanted around 11:30pm, when Steel Pulse took the stage and started their marathon session. I headed on stage to watch the event.
It was surreal feeling to see one of my favorite bands up close, literally two feet away from me! The band always sounds amazing on their CD recordings, but Steel Pulse takes it to another level during their live shows.
Throughout the night, the band performed classic tracks like, “Roller Skates” and “Steppin Out.” They even gave their fans a phatty solo, where each member showed off their skills jamming on their instruments!
During his solo, our new friend Amlak had the crowd feeling the bass pouring from his guitar with a rendition of “Welcome to Jamrock.”
This sent the audience into a frenzy! After he finished the solo, Steel Pulse rocked an additional 3 encores because all of the fans didn’t want the raging party to end!
Two hours later, it was time to take the Steel Pulse Crew back downstairs and have a Vapor celebration Got Vape style!
After an energetic performance, we had a chance to officially welcome them as a part of the Got Vape Family. When I gave Amlak his new Got Vape Easy Vape Vaporizer, he was like a kid on Christmas morning.
All together, we left the show feeling super irie and on a positive vibe. It was yet again another successful Got Vape event. Make sure to check out Steel Pulse on their official site.
