The stem extends the distance from the heating element to your mouth, thereby reducing the temperature of the vapor and providing you with a slightly cooler draw. This is perfect for me because I like my vapors to be very cool, not to hot at all. Using a wood stem gives your vapor a more natural taste which I find is a must have for every Magic Flight Launch Box owner.

I bought a magic flight about two months ago and it has been the perfect portable unit for me to use. I'm never at home, I'm constantly on the go and I bring it everywhere I go, but I recently dropped the glass stem and it broke. I wasn't sure what to do, but I checked on this website and saw that magic flight sells wooden stems. I immediately bought one in cherry wood and I love it. I have dropped it a few times and its totally strong. I know this stem won't break and that gives me relief.
