I bought my Magic Flight Launch Box less than a week ago and I could not be more thrilled with it. There are many so/so or negative reviews out ther about this little unit, but the amount of positive feedback about this product far exceeds the negative. Yes, it is possible to "burn" your herbal blend with this unit. Yes, it can be easily avoided. The screen heats up very quickly (within 5 seconds) and it stays warm for several seconds AFTER RELEASING THE BATTERY. This is where I think people are going wrong with this little guy. Here is the "secret" to PERFECT, DENSE, COOL vapor every time.

1) FINELY ground herbs - DO NOT OVERFILL. (I use a very very very small amount each time and I usually only go for 2-3 vapes per load)

2) DO NOT hold the battery into the socket for longer than 8 seconds. (you might want a deeper vape, but trust me, this is where people are "burning" thier herb.

3) WAIT 20-25 seconds between vape hits. (this is critical, as the screen must cool a bit to prevent the "burn")

4) BE VERY CAREFUL with the delicate screen as you whisk it clean with the brush (included in kit)between EVERY load.

Man I cant believe this thing only 3.2 stars ..guess cuz the batteries dont last so long.. It is portable and should be meant to be used on the run.I just use it @ home and it is a lot better than 3.2 maybe a 4.5..I just constantly have the batteries rotating.under my desk and Im good to go..Im gonna be joining the big leagues soon enough and just grab a digi Volcano

This is absolutely a incredible little vaporizer that has ended my days of "burning". It's a bit of a challenge to keep the batteries warm enough and charged enough to perform properly but well worth the effort. I'm an all day "smoker" and with my asthma, the party was about to come to a close until the Launch Box walked into my life. Thank you Magic Flight! This thing is simply constructed but built like a tank (aside from the fragile internal screen area that must be handled with care) and so compact that it literally goes EVERYWHERE with me. I love this thing. I don't even own a lighter these days and I cannot believe I inhaled all that ash for so many years. I am happy no more. If you don't order one of these things right now you should just go ahead and punch yourself in the face. Lol Jk

The cons about the unit are that if the battery is kept inside to long the unit will burn. The unit heats up within seconds, but at an extremely high temperature. With that said, be careful ?

I have seen these things all over the review sites. Almost everything is good feedback. I need a portable vaporizer so I have been looking in to this one. It seems like a great vape. I checked one out at a convention and it had a lot of benefits. You get a life time warranty and its smaller than the palm of your hand. I thought they just ran off regular batteries but to my surprise they are completely custom to the unit. All you need to worry about is recharging the battery which isn't doesn't seem like much of a problem because it comes with a wall charger. I'm planning on purchasing this unit soon and I'm convinced I will be more than happy with it.

I've had a MFLB for about a month now and i couldn't be more impressed. As an athlete and swimmer i really hated smoking because it made me feel awful. The burning smell, the constant need to clean my pieces.. i just wasnt happy with it. I had been researching the launch box for a couple weeks before making my purchase and everything i read was positive. No butane, no awful smell, and NO SMOKE!! The MFLB can provide visible vapor clouds but i get the best effects when I keep the box from reaching that point. Vaping also provides a much "clearer" feeling than smoking which is great because i still get the effects of my herbs without being dysfunctional. I can vape one tiny trench on my way to school and be good until around 2pm which is amazing because im not spending as much money on herb. I can proudly say that i will never smoke again thanks to my Magic Flight Launch Box.

I own 2 of these things (actually gave my old one to a friend)anyways, this is the most discreet, efficient portable vape around. I own a cano, and am using my mflb right now! Get over the battery thing people, if you want stealth, this is where it's at, you could hit this thing in front of your grandma and she would think it was your inhaler! 5 stars all the way!

p.s. if you fools are burning your s**t up after a few practice runs, maybe you should stick with the pipe!...... Peace!

You might have to be a special kind of person to flip out over this device. I am and I did.

The bowl is shallow and always visible, so you know what is happening without taking it apart.

Plate heats to 375 in seconds and then it is all you: pace and intensity of draw.

If you have to burn and love to see and smell smoke or vapor, don't get this one. Nothing to see, nothing to smell.

Very small. One reviewer said she used it in a theater.

I have owned my MFLB for several months now and love it. To anyone who is burning their herb up then don't hold the battery down so long. If you read the instructions, the new revision says to hold down for only a few seconds before you start your draw. Just because you don't see any vapor does not mean it isn't there. I also saw someone who claims 4-8 draws before you need to replace the battery and that is ridiculous unless of course you are holding the battery down for way too long. The design is simple and effective so if you can't figure out how to use it properly then please read the instructions AGAIN and have someone explain it to you because you are apparently incompetent.

Anyway, the MFLB is a great device, especially with the new revisions. It really gives your herb a great flavor and has a very smooth draw when taken in slowly. One battery with proper use will last several trenches. I chose this over other portable options because of how it immediately heats up and is ready for use. The size allows for it to easily fit in any pocket and can fit in your hand while drawing for complete discretion while you are on the go. My only complaint would be the price. It is just a little wooden box at the end of the day, but given the price of the competition and the lifetime warranty it offers, it is still worth it in my opinion.

I just ask that you do your research and not listen to all these people who can't figure out how to push a battery down for a few seconds and take a draw properly.

I know that the WISPR is the best portable out there, but my financial bracket puts me the level of purchasing the magic flight. I have to admit at first I just viewed this vape as a cheap box with batteries, but after using my buddies a few weeks back, I knew I had to get one. Its super small and very low key for a vaporizer, but it packs a big hit for a little vape. its very easy to use and understand. It is light, it fits in your pocket, and its less expensive. This is perfect for me because I skate as well and I can skate and vaporize at the same time.

Used as instructed, this is the best investment I've made in canibis delivery systems. How can you beat a lifetime warranty? I'm a medicinal user, so I need it several times per day. No smoker's cough or additional bronchial irritation when I have a cold or my allergies flair up. I use it inside my home all the time and no one can tell when I'm medicating.

As far as batteries go, I just purchased a second pair, so one set is always charged. In fact, I just saw that it now comes with 2 sets of batteries.

Got a lot of good tips watching the YouTube videos. (HIGHLY RECOMMENDED)

Portible, descrete, no more harmful smoke byproducts, no lighters, and you could use this thing in a wind tunnel.

It's a no brainer in my eyes, for all imbibers.
