Love this vaporizer and it was great for about a month. Then it randomly had issues lighting. After about 2 months of use it stopped lighting all together. Sent it back in for testing and am hopefully receiving a replacement soon.

It was a great unit: until it refused to ignite while were on vacation. Went to Tahoe for week and day three it started having troubles lighting. Had to ignite unit multiple time to get it to light up and have red light on side turn on. The next time we tried to fill with butane it had a leak. The previously said unit started to leak ALL butane out of unit. To my dismay the unit was now broken and I had to find another smoking device while on vacation with my family, not a trip my wife will let me forget.... Would recommend but keep receipt close. Good news they are fixing for free.

I've been enjoying my WISPR for 2 weeks everyday and am so pleased with its easy functions and consistent vapor. Not to mention, it actually looks groovy, so I have no issues with resting this sucker on my desk or tucking into my coat pocket.
I've been careful to only use really high quality butane (Davidoff from a smoke shop) and my WISPR has been doing its job beautifully with no performance issues.
Now I find myself making sure that when I leave the house I remember my keys, phone and WISPR! I simply won't leave home without it.

Great vaporizer, timing needs to be figured out by user to get consistent, great hits. Highly recommended, never had a vapo before this one, have used a buddy's volcano more than a few times though, but this one is easy to use and discreet. I use it everywhere and I mean everywhere movies, bank, gym, in the car on the go.

I had owned two Iolite vaporizers in the past two because the first one developed ignition issues and then a broken ignition early on, so i sent it back and got great service from the service center, the second unit lasted longer but has started acting up as far as starting again so I bought a Wispr 4 days ago I loved it as far as vapor quality But after using 7 times it stopped lighting and the botton Broke again! They do need to work out the construction issues....

I have now owned the original Iolite and the whisper. Both products have been excellent. Quality construction, ease of use and good customer service from Iolite. Why would I consider anything else?!?

I have been using mine almost everyday for the last 6 months. I even used it on my month long trip to the Colorado plateau, so I was at minimum 7,000ft to around 9-10,000ft, and the wisper performed solid the entire time. Of course you need to use quality 5x butaine. I have been very impressed with its consistency. I have found that if I let it heat up when I first turn it on for about 3 mins before taking a pull, then I can get a much thicker vapor.
I guess if I had to say one negative with my experiences it would be that the vapor you inhale will be warm to hot, so maybe with the next version Iolite can make the mouthpiece "straw" in some way that will cool down the vapor, similar to the Plenty vaporizer by Storz & Bickel. But with most vaporizers, especially the small portable ones, you are going to have warm to hot vapor...
I take this thing everywhere I go..
I guess if I had to say one negative with my experiences it would be that the vapor you inhale will be warm to hot, so maybe with the next version Iolite can make the mouthpiece "straw" in some way that will cool down the vapor, similar to the Plenty vaporizer by Storz & Bickel. As the title implies, I was very excited to get this product. The stylish design, the all in one packaging so you don't have to carry extra parts around, no batteries, etc...
I will begin with saying the one I received did end up being defective (leak in the butane tank saw causing it to run out fast, and not heat properly).
That being said, the design IS beautiful. But as far as being discrete, the "hissing" noise that is present when it is activated is a bit distracting and couldn't be used in a place like a movie theater/library/etc... And yes, this was the normal hissing noise, this wasn't the leak issue.
Vapor quality wasn't the best, kinda tasted muggy (and yes i made sure it wasn't the blend, I tried it in my Aromed 4.0 which I love)
As I said before, my unit was defective, so I'm not sure how this may have overall impacted my experience. But the hissing noise was enough for me not to want to try it again with another one. For a portable vape at this price I expected a much better experience. If they ever come out with a battery operated version I may consider it again.

I LOVE this thing! It does not burn my blend. I love the whole butane thing because it gets it to heat up much faster than electric vapes. Looks better in person too. I got the black one, and it looks classy as hell! Nice glossy finish. I use at work on the job. Lol. Nobody has a clue!!!
