I'm so iffy on this battery; I have had to send it in for a replacement twice!
I brought my unit to the mountains for a trip and I was only able to use it for a 10 min session before it crapped out on me. When I got home I let the battery charge, the next day when I went to go use it what a surprise only 30 min before it dies again! All in all, it lasts long enough for a nice day, but a car charger seams practical.
I have received a replacement battery pack now and so far it seems to be working as usual. I just would keep an open mind before purchasing this device because of all the past troubles I had with mine. Good luck to the next guy.
I Would Recommend This Product to a Friend
I cannot tell you how handy it is to have the xtra battery while out hiking and away from any elctrical outlets. I also have a car charger which allows me to charge up and go right back out there into the wilderness.
Everyone should have at least one extra battery and a car charger for their NO2 to be most efficient.
