Top Party Spots for the New Year

The top party spots to be to ring in the New Year:

Number 5: Los Angeles, California

The city of angels where the stars shine bright on the movie screen, but not in the sky. Los Angeles is home to huge street parties, all nighters, and pub crawls, so there’s always something to fit whatever you’re into.

Number 4: Chicago, Illinois

In a year that many Chicagoans will never forget filled with the breaking of the curse of the billy goat and their first World Series title since 1908, you know Chicago is going to end their 2016 with a bang. Head down to Navy Pier with the family and watch the fireworks fill the night air at midnight. Or if you’re and looking for a great night out, their Chicago Resolution Gala is the place to be with over 30 bars, buffet stations and plenty of room to dance the night away.

Number 3: Portland, Oregon

The city known for its craft brews and Voodoo Donuts, there is no shortage on party events to visit and make this New Year’s Eve one you won’t soon forget. The Portland Champagne Ball is the biggest hotspot, boasting 17 bars, 4 themed rooms and 4 dance floors. Did we mention it’s a dress up party?

Number 2: Las Vegas, Nevada

The city of sin, with 24 hour casinos and the party capital of the world. So, is it any surprise that this is a top tourist spot to ring in the New Year? Thousands flock to Las Vegas for the New Year to have a time of their life. Party with over 300,000 people as the entire Vegas strip is shut down and turned into a block party to remember. At midnight, the casinos launch a choreographed firework display that you won’t soon forget.

Number 1: New Orleans, Louisiana

Mardi Gras isn’t the only party New Orleans throws. New Orleans is known for throwing one hell of a New Year Bash as well. Enjoy live music, people in costume, and amazing firework shows out on Bourbon Street, where the party never ends. End the night watching the fleur de lis descend from a 25-foot pole to ring in a new beginning.
