1. Select The Proper Puffco Accessory For Your Device

First things first, if you want to use a new Puffco accessory, you’ll have to make sure you have the right style and fit for your specific vaporizer. 

Because Puffco's lineup includes the Puffco Peak, Puffco Peak Pro, Puffco Pivot, Puffco Proxy, and Puffco Proxy Core, every type of attachment is going to have it's own set of particularities.

• Peak & Peak Pro Glass: The glass tops between the Puffco Peak and Puffco Peak Pro are completely interchangeable, meaning you can swap your favorite artisan glass or travel glass between both bases effortlessly.
  
• Proxy Ecosystem: The Puffco Proxy and Proxy Core share the exact same modular footprint, allowing you to drop the core into any Proxy compatible glass pipe, bubbler, or rig adapter seamlessly. However some tops are exclusive to just the Proxy Core, so double check before purchasing. 
  
• Pivot Specifics: The Puffco Pivot utilizes its own ultra portable, specialized ecosystem, so accessories like cases and mouthpieces are tailored strictly to its slim profile.

2. Remove Your Current Top Or Accessory

One of the most important parts of a great session starts before you even hit the power button, and that is safely attaching whatever Puffco Accessory you have to your vaporizer. 

As most Puffco Accessories replace or augment an existing component, your first step will be removing the stock part and placing it in a safe location. This way if you ever decide to switch back, your normal top / accessory will be ready and waiting.

• Ensure your Puffco device is completely powered off before removing any glass tops, 3D chambers, or modular cores.
  
• For glass tops, gently tilt the glass backward to break the silicone seal, then lift it straight up and away from the base.

3. Slot In Your New Puffco Accessory Correctly

Depending on whether you are locking in a new Peak Pro glass or dropping a Proxy Core into a bubbler, your technique will shift slightly to ensure a smooth, airtight transfer.

• For Glass Tops: Align the air intake hole on the bottom of the glass with the air path slot on the silicone base. Push the glass gently down into the front of the base first, then rock it backward to lock the silicone seal securely in place.
  
• For Proxy Cores: Align the base of the Proxy core with your chosen glass pipe or bubbler accessory, and press down firmly until the silicone gasket creates a perfectly snug fit.
  
• For Chambers/Atomizers: Thread the new chamber into the base clockwise with a gentle twist until it stops. Never over tighten, as this can snap the internal pins.

Your accessory should slot in smoothly without immense pressure, so if something feels wrong - then it most likely is. Instead take your time and be gentle to ensure that you correctly and safely get your new accessory attached. 

This way you can prevent leaks, airflow blockages, or any other issues from popping up mid-session due to your Puffco Accessory not being correctly attached. 

4. Perform A Test Draw & Secure The Cap

With your new accessory slotted into the base, now you can move onto testing the seal with a quick test draw. This way you don't find out there's an issue while your concentrates are already warning and have time to adjust. 

Test Hitting:

• Before dropping in your concentrate, take a dry, unheated pull from the mouthpiece to ensure the airflow feels restricted and properly sealed.
  
• If the draw feels too airy or whistling occurs, gently adjust the glass top or Proxy core to ensure the silicone gaskets are sitting flush.
  
• Once confirmed, drop your concentrate in and place your joystick or carb cap over the top of the chamber to trap heat and begin your draw.

• While the chamber is still warm from the hit, wipe it thoroughly with a dry cotton swab to remove leftover liquid wax.
• Remove any lingering sticky film around the glass joint so the accessory doesn't get glued to the silicone base as it cools.
