Puffco

Puffco makes electric dab rigs and portable concentrate devices. The Peak and Peak Pro are the countertop rigs, the Proxy is the portable, and all of them heat concentrate electronically rather than with a torch.

Charge it, press the button to start a heat cycle, wait for the device to signal it has reached temperature, then load a small amount of concentrate into the bowl and draw. Loading before the bowl is hot is the most common first-time mistake.

Let it cool, remove the glass and the atomizer, and clean the bowl with a cotton swab dipped in isopropyl alcohol. The glass can soak in alcohol; the atomizer and base cannot. Dry both fully before reassembling.

Swab the bowl after every few sessions and do a full clean when the taste changes or residue is visible. Cleaning little and often is far easier than trying to recover a chamber that has been left to build up.

A red and white flash usually signals a fault the device has detected on its own, most often a poorly seated or failing atomizer, or a charging problem. Reseat the atomizer on a cool device first, then try a different cable, then contact Puffco support.

Swab the inside of the bowl with isopropyl alcohol and a cotton bud, and wipe the outside contacts dry. Never soak an atomizer or run it under water, because the heating element and its electrical contacts are inside the assembly.

The glass attachment can be soaked in isopropyl alcohol, then rinsed with warm water and left to dry completely. Make sure it is fully dry before it goes back on the device.

The Proxy separates the heater and battery from the glass, so the same stick works in different attachments. Press to start a cycle, wait for the ready signal, load the bowl and draw. It can be used with any Proxy-compatible glass.

The Peak Pro connects to Puffco's app over Bluetooth for temperature control and firmware updates. The original Peak does not have app connectivity and is controlled entirely from the device.

The Hot Knife is a heated loading tool, not a vaporizer. Press the button, let the tip warm, and use it to pick up and place concentrate into a bowl. It exists so you are not handling sticky concentrate with a cold tool.

Buy from an authorized retailer. Counterfeit Puffco atomizers and glass are common, and a fake consumable is the usual cause of a genuine device suddenly misbehaving or failing warranty inspection.
