Vape Tanks

7 products

Replacement tanks and chambers for concentrate and oil devices. The tank holds the material and carries the coil, so it works with the coils and atomizers rather than instead of them. Fits devices across the dab pen and 510 battery range.

TANK, COIL, MOUTHPIECE

Three parts that get confused with each other. The coil is the heating element. The mouthpiece is what you draw through. The tank is the chamber between them that holds the material and usually houses the coil.

Knowing which one has failed saves buying the wrong part. Flat or burnt flavor is the coil. A restricted draw is usually the mouthpiece. Leaking or a cracked window is the tank.

WHY A TANK GETS REPLACED

Glass cracks, seals perish, and threads wear after enough disassembly. None of that is a fault so much as the consequence of a part being taken apart and reassembled every time the device is cleaned.

FIT IS PER-DEVICE

Tanks are matched to a specific device and generation. Thread pitch, seal diameter and coil seat all have to line up, so a tank that screws on is not necessarily the right one. Check the model before ordering.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do you clean a vape tank?

Disassemble it, soak the glass and metal parts in isopropyl alcohol, then rinse with warm water and dry completely before reassembling. Keep the coil out of the soak — it cannot be submerged.

What is the difference between a tank and an atomizer?

The atomizer is the heating element. The tank is the chamber that holds the material and usually houses that element. Flat or burnt flavor points to the coil; leaking or cracking points to the tank.

Why is my tank leaking?

Usually a perished or misseated seal, an overtightened joint that has distorted the gasket, or a hairline crack in the glass. Reseat it first, then inspect the seal before replacing the whole tank.

Are vape tanks interchangeable?

Rarely. Thread pitch, seal diameter and the coil seat all have to match, so a tank that screws onto a battery is not necessarily correct for it. Check your exact model.

How often should a tank be replaced?

Only when something fails — a crack, a perished seal, or worn threads. Unlike a coil, a tank is not a routine consumable.

Can you use a cracked tank?

No. A crack breaks the airtight seal, so the draw weakens and the contents can leak into the battery housing. Replace it rather than working around it.

How do you stop a tank clogging?

Clean it before residue builds rather than after, and avoid overfilling — material forced past the chamber is what ends up in the airway.

What is a tank made from?

Usually glass or quartz for the chamber with metal threading and silicone seals. Glass is preferred because it does not hold the flavor of previous sessions.

Why does my tank taste burnt?

That is nearly always the coil rather than the tank. Replace the coil and prime the new one properly before running it at a higher setting.

Can a tank be repaired?

A perished seal can often be replaced on its own. Cracked glass and worn threads cannot be repaired and mean a new tank.
