A desktop dry herb vaporizer that heats air and pumps it through the chamber to fill a detachable balloon, which you then inhale from. The balloon is what makes it consistent and easy to share.

Grind and load the filling chamber, set the temperature and let it reach it, fit the chamber and attach the balloon, then switch on the pump until the balloon fills. Remove it and inhale through the valve.

Easy Valve balloons come pre-assembled and are replaced as a unit — simpler, less maintenance. The Solid Valve is rebuildable from individual parts, so it costs less over time but takes assembly. Replacements are not cross-compatible.

When it clouds, stiffens or stops holding air cleanly. It is a wear part, and how fast it goes depends on use and temperature rather than a set interval.

Both use hybrid conduction and convection with precise temperature control. The Mighty is larger with noticeably longer battery life; the Crafty is more portable and uses a phone app for finer control.

Disassemble the chamber and mouthpiece, soak the removable parts in isopropyl alcohol, rinse and dry fully before reassembly. Screens are replaced rather than cleaned indefinitely. The heating unit is never submerged.

When they clog, distort, or airflow drops noticeably. Screens are inexpensive consumables and are stocked separately for exactly that reason.

Some are, many are not — the Volcano, Mighty and Crafty use different chambers and mouthpieces. Check which model and which valve system you own before ordering.
