Vape Pens
Vape pen covers three different devices. 510 thread batteries power pre filled oil carts, dab pens take concentrate you load yourself, and dry herb vaporizers take ground flower. What you plan to put in it decides which one you need.

Vape pen is a broad name and it covers three quite different devices. Knowing which one you actually want saves a lot of money, so this page is the orientation and the specific collections sit one click away.
The most common is a cartridge battery. It does nothing on its own, it simply powers a pre filled oil cart that you screw on top. If you already have carts, or you are buying carts, this is what you need. We list ours under 510 thread batteries.
The second is a wax pen, sometimes called a dab pen. There is no cartridge involved. You load concentrate directly onto a coil or a ceramic dish inside the pen. Stronger, more involved, and it needs cleaning.
The third is a dry herb pen, which takes ground flower rather than any kind of extract. Different chamber, different heat, and not interchangeable with either of the others.
If you are unsure, the deciding question is simply what you are putting in it. Carts point to a 510 battery, concentrate points to a wax pen, flower points to dry herb.
Frequently Asked Questions
What is a vape pen?
Vape pen is a general term for a pen shaped device that heats either an oil cartridge, a concentrate, or dry herb. The three types are not interchangeable, so the material you plan to use decides which one you need.
What is a vape pen called?
It depends what it heats. A pen that powers a pre filled cartridge is a cart battery or 510 thread battery. One that takes loose concentrate is a dab pen or wax pen. One that takes ground flower is a dry herb pen.
Do vape pens come with cartridges?
The batteries on this page are sold on their own. You add the cartridge separately, which is what makes the 510 thread standard useful, since almost any cart will fit almost any battery.
How much do vape pens cost?
Cartridge batteries here start around fifteen dollars and reach roughly eighty for variable voltage models with larger cells. Wax pens start higher because the heating chamber is built in. Dry herb pens are higher again.
Are vape pens rechargeable?
Every vape pen we carry is rechargeable. Most charge over USB C in under an hour. We do not sell single use devices.
Which vape pen is best for beginners?
An auto draw cartridge battery. There is no button, no voltage to set and nothing to assemble. Screw on a cart and inhale.
What is the difference between a vape and a pen?
Pen describes the shape, vape describes what it does. A vape pen is simply a pen shaped vaporizer. Larger box or handheld vaporizers work the same way but are not pen shaped.
How long does a vape pen battery last?
Between charges, a 350mAh pen covers light use for a day and a 900mAh model lasts several. Over its life, expect one to two years of regular use before capacity noticeably drops.
